Such a fun family!

I had a blast yesterday on the beach with this wonderful family that were visiting from AZ. I knew the dad oh, more than 20 years ago! The weather wasn't cooperating in typical San Diego fashion, we had a marine layer that wouldn't stop. But we still had a good time.

And don't worry you two, I got respectable shots as well, but Dave, you were tooo funny.

I'm back!

I've neglected my blog for too too long. And I had so much fun with the "B" girls today! I've known the mom since we were pregnant (her with her 1st, mine with my only). She's expecting again so we got together today for some fun at Zolo Garden in Balboa Park.

Offering some new stuff!

So, I've been getting some inquiries into my landscapes and still lifes. As a result I've launched a new gallery on the site. "It's All About Life" -- this will be growing section of the things I see around me. Thinking of new things...

Well, I was planning on trying to pull off a Valentines Limited Edition session, but as life tends to do, it went and got in the way. So, now I'm planning way way ahead. I am going to do a Spring Limited Edition, I've got a great spot already picked out I just need to nail down the times and days. Oh, and the packages too.

Some things to know about my Limited Edition sessions
There will be a set session fee and this fee will include prints of a pre-determined amount. As the photographer and artist I will pick which prints will be included in your final package. I will post all images taken in a password protected gallery so that if you wish to order additional prints you will be able to.

Digital Prints
I am still deciding on pricing options for digital prints. It may be a per picture price or a full session price. It may require a minimum print order. Like I said, I'm still deciding and working on it. I know this is a popular thing these days but more and more photographers that I encounter have done away with offering, so I am learning and contemplating.

We're back! It was a long trip but Bryan had a blast playing in the snow and exploring more of Chicago!

So, I'm working on getting back into the swing of things. One thing I'm working on putting together is a Valentines Day mini-shoot. I think I've decided on the card design that I'll be using (only one this time) and package prices. Go ahead and leave me a comment here, on the website or in email and let me know if you're interested.

We're heading to the airport today for 16 days in Chicago. Any orders received during that time will not be filled until after January 4.

How bad is it that I haven't taken my own kids Christmas picture yet? I've got his outfit all ready, it's just that everyday I'm ready to go do it it rains and now the sun is too strong... soon.

In fun news, we're going to the Hard Rock Cafe tomorrow to have breakfast with Santa and enjoy the music of our favorite kids band.. check them out, they're in my kids gallery on the site. Then it's off to Paul's office for their family party. Then Sunday practice for the Christmas pageant. Busy busy weekend.

And just because I have to do it for Bryan -- 12 days til we go to Chicago.

I wanted to let everyone know that my session fee is currently reduced to $30 until the end of 2007.
Also, with a signed release you get a low-res (not print quality) CD of all images that are in your gallery.

It's been a while.

I've pretty much neglected this blog since setting it up. Bad, bad me. From here on out I will be better at it. *promise*

Baby H's Baptism

Our beautiful nephew was baptized in June of 2007. Of course I had my camera glued to me and this is my favorite shot. Baby H and his Uncle/Godfather..

and then of course I had to play some more (but that top one is the first edit I did of it and it won 1st place in Java Mama's Photo Contest.)

Day One

Well, another blog to add to my list of things I try to keep updated. Starting soon I will try to start a photo-a-day concept here. I'll also do my best to keep you all updated on what I'm doing with my photography. I've learned so much since I picked up a camera seriously for the first time last year. It's amazing what time, reading and trial and error can do for me. I still am finding my direction and learning more.
